From an esoteric point of view your birth chart is a
portrait of your soul's intention for this lifetime, the lessons
to be learned, qualities to develop, problems to be resolved,
service to be rendered. From that perspective, the choices one
makes in one's daily life have reverberations that may last
beyond even this lifetime.
This report is written to help you clarify your lessons and
goals, illuminate your struggles, and encourage you to move in
the direction of your true purposes.
The best to you on your journey...

Chapter 1: The Moon
The placement of the Moon in your birth chart is very
significant from a karmic perspective, as it indicates the
accumulated karmic tendencies, both positive and negative, that
you carry from your past incarnated experiences on earth.
While the Sun reveals your intended purposes and lessons
for this present life cycle, the MOON represents what you have
already done and developed, hence, what is instinctive and
natural to you, and what you tend to do over and over again.
Your childhood is also reflected in the Moon's placement, as it
is through those childhood circumstances that any unresolved
past-life issues are re-stimulated. Your subconscious
predisposition is indicated by the Moon's position. It is the
psychic imprint of the past. The nodes of the Moon describe
behavior patterns from the past, as well as delineating a
direction out of outworn or overdone behaviors and habits.
Moon in Scorpio:
In your incarnational past you developed an acute psychic
sensitivity, a sort of psychic x-ray vision that enables you to
read the hidden agendas and the unspoken (often unconscious)
messages that other people put out. Your ability to intuit
another's motives and unexpressed feelings may make some people
wary or uncomfortable around you. It is as if they sense that
you know more about them than they know themselves, especially
about those aspects of themselves they would rather not face or
have other people see. In the past, your penetrating insight
into human nature, your capacity to deeply "know" a person
emphatically, and your attunement to the dark or hidden under
currents in a person or situation may have gained you the
reputation of being a "witch". You may well have used your
deeper knowledge to gain power over or manipulate people in
subtle ways. Certainly you had the capacity to do so. You may
also have endured much ridicule whenever you openly expressed
your feelings and your awareneses. As a result, you learned to
be very secretive and private and to protect yourself from
prying eyes. Even today, you can be very asocial and you hide
quite a bit of yourself from public view, retreating into
seclusion whenever you feel threatened. At a deep level you may
believe that you must hide in order to survive. Thu,s allowing
yourself to come out into the open, or to let people in, may be
very difficult for you. Early experiences in this life, or in
past lifetimes, have conditioned you to be less than trusting.
Your lovers and close friends may feel you are unjustifiably
fearful, even a bit paranoid. The truth is, you have
experienced first-hand the nastier side of human nature. You
thus tend to throw up smoke screens between yourself and those
who would know you at more than a superficial level. Once you
do allow someone to know you well, fears of loss, betrayal, or
abandonment usually surface rapidly. Nevertheless, your
capacity for and your need for deep intimacy and emotional
closeness in your relationships is greater than most. You seek
intensity in your relationships and can not be satisfied with
"luke warm". You run hot and cold, and are prone to be
compulsive or obsessed with the people or issues you care about.
At your worst, you are unbearably possessive and controlling,
driven by your craving for closeness and also your underlying
memories of being betrayed. Jealousy may be your greatest
nemesis. Secretly nursing grudges, resentment, and grievances
over things that happened long ago may also be a bad habit of
yours, one you will need to overcome if you are not to be
poisoned by your own negativity.
It is important that you do not deny or repress such
feelings, either, as that will only fuel them. However, if you
can acknowledge and share them - and then let them go, you can
free yourself of much old, excess "baggage". You are also prone
to strong feelings of guilt, often for no known cause that you
can consciously recognize. This may stem from three sources:
1)Being punished or shamed as a child for your very strong
feel-ings, especially the "not-nice" ones, 2) your own
instinctive awareness of the "shadowy" side of your own nature
and 3) deep memories of your own misuse or misdirection of
power.
At your best, you are passionate, creative, caring, deep,
and wise in an instinctive way. In this lifetime you could be a
particularly insightful psychologist or counselor, the one
people will divulge their darkest secrets to. By confronting
your own negativity and pain, and learning to release it, you
are able to shed some light for others who struggle with the
same.
North Node in Libra:
In the past you had to rely primarily on yourself, and you
are now moving toward cooperating, relating, including others,
and interdependence. Learning how to relate fairly,
considerately, and with thought for others is your growth
direction.
North Node in 11th house:
In this lifetime there is also a definite movement within
you toward broader social involvement and influences, and away
from creating in isolation or strictly ego - gratifying
accomplishment. Your past tendencies will be particularly active
in your relationships to your children (physical or creative).
Moon Conjunct Uranus:
In your incarnational past, while there may have been long
periods of contentment and tranquility, there was also a time of
great upheaval which forced you to turn your back on the
security and way of life you once knew. Your home life may have
been disrupted, and your inner sense of who "family" is,
radically changed. It is possible that you were involved in
revolutionary activities, or were in a profession that was
considered unorthodox or even heretical by the authorities of
the day, and your fellow "radicals" or sympathizers become your
true family.
All of this may affect you in the present in a number of
subtle ways: a deep-seated restlessness or desire to break away
totally from your past, a feeling that the rug could be pulled
out from under you at any moment, emotional impulsiveness, a
craving for newness and excitement for which you are willing to
forego security or an orderly existence.
It is important for you to try to embody the ideals and
unusual interests and inclinations you have, without "throwing
the baby out with the bath water"!
Chapter 2: The Sun
The Sun in your birth chart represents the primary creative
thrust for this lifetime, those qualities you are to develop (or
further develop) and express, and your current life focus. This
may be in harmony with your instincts and your emotional habits,
or along completely different lines. The Sun represents your
conscious identity in this lifetime.
Sun in Pisces:
The flowering of compassion through your ability to merge
on a feeling level and to empathize with all, is a key theme for
you in this lifetime. This propensity to share others'
emotional experience has both its blessings and its deficits. At
your finest you have a deeply-felt understanding of human nature
which goes beyond words or intellect, and which enables you to
forgive others' misdeeds and make allowances for their
weaknesses. You are acutely aware of others' pain, including
the emotional wounds and brokenness they carry within, and your
ability to listen with an understanding heart and to
unconditionally accept people as they are can be a healing
influence in their lives. You are inclined to exclude nobody.
At a deep level you feel and know your oneness with all
creatures, and thus every snail in the garden or stray cat is
part of your "heart's family".
However, this same all-embracing emotional/psychic openness
and receptivity can be the source of some of your greatest
challenges in life. It is easy for you to become overwhelmed by
the world and its sorrows, and to seek some form of escape from
it and from your own extreme sensitivity; for instance, over
using drugs or alcohol or even food to alter your mood, or
retreating from life into the unreal world of television or
other diversions. You may simply withdraw into your own private
fantasies to avoid confronting the challenges in the physical
world. At its worst this tendency can devolve into evasiveness
and playing ostrich about important issues in your life. While
your imagination and your sensitivity are the well spring of
some of your richest experiences and gifts, if over indulged you
may become passive, ineffectual, lost, or confused. Especially
when young, you may lack a strong sense of self, of definition
and identity, because on a feeling level you identify with
others so easily. It can be difficult for you to separate
yourself, to know what your boundaries are, when to say no or
how to stand up for your own personal interests. Since you are
not narrowly focused on self, others may take advantage of your
natural generosity and sympathy. Learning and incorporating the
concepts of discrimination and clear judgment will enable you to
give of yourself in ways that are healthy for you and the ones
you are giving to.
Part of your soul development in this lifetime also has to
do with taking what others discard and fixing, saving, or
redeeming it in some way. This could take many forms, from
repairing and recycling old "junk", to working with people who
are disadvantaged, such as, the misfits, outcasts, sick, weak,
poor, or handicapped in our society. This urge to fix what is
broken, to heal and to make whole again has, once again, a light
and a dark side to it - the dark side being that you could
easily become a martyr, sacrificing yourself for the supposed
benefit of another while drawing in trouble yourself. However,
if you learn self-responsibility, your gift for healing or
putting things back together again can be fulfilling to you as
well as benefit many others.
At times you may feel that you do not really belong in this
world for you are so attuned to the nonphysical, intangible
world of feeling and of the soul. An underlying sense of
"cosmic homesickness" and a yearning for the peace and
completion of the beyond may be ever present with you. (This
can lead you to become lackadaisical, wasteful, or out of touch
with the material world).
However, attuning to this inner or transpersonal realm, and
bringing back its gifts to share in this one, is really your
challenge. Music or art may be your vehicle. You could develop
your psychic sensitivity in order to help guide and teach
others, or simply live your life in a way that expresses and
honors your larger vision and your compassion.
Sun conjunct Mercury in Pisces:
Your ability to blend your intellect and reasoning power
with your intuition enables you to instinctively understand
other people and their life situations. You have a gift for
drawing out others, eliciting and listening to their stories,
even though you yourself maybe shy. You could be a great
story-teller as you possess a keen eye and ear for the poetic,
literary, and artistic. You will be happiest when you are using
some blending of mind and emotions or thought and instinct in a
creative way. The use of your hands to fashion, fix or create
things is very satisfying also.
Chapter 3: Rising Sign
The point that was on the eastern horizon at the moment of
your birth is called the ASCENDANT, or rising sign. While the
Sun describes your conscious direction and current life focus,
and the Moon your subconscious predisposition and past, the
Ascendant indicates a way of being that transcends and embraces
past, present, and future. It describes the way you engage and
merge with the outer world and how you bring through into life
the energies depicted by the Sun, the Moon, and the rest of your
birth chart. Everything is filtered through the Ascendant from
an esoteric point of view. It indicates your soul's function
and thus a key part of your destiny.
Scorpio Rising:
You have keen animal instincts, a deeply instinctual and
passionate nature, and access to forces that can be used for
healing and regeneration - of yourself, other individuals, or
society. Strong-willed and powerful in a quiet understated sort
of way, you are always a force with which to be reckoned. You
know intuitively where another's pain or weakness lies, and can
thus be a natural healer - or a terrible enemy, if your energies
are directed toward conflict. Learning to trust and follow your
instincts, and to focus your will upon positive intents, are
keys to fulfilling your highest destiny. Your ruling planets
are Mars and Pluto.
Scorpio Rising and Mars in Cancer:
Your Mars is in the soulful and emotional sign of Cancer:
you have deep sensitivity and protective feelings toward
children, animals, and for all life. Your capacity to commune
or merge emotionally with your surroundings gives your great
empathy. You are strongly sensuous and passionate. You may
have difficulty articulating, understanding, or communicating
your feelings in a rational or intellectual way. Music is a
good language for you.
Scorpio Rising and Pluto in Libra:
Your Pluto in Libra reveals a drive for justice, fairness,
equality, and bringing the scales back into balance. You tend to
see the injustices and corruption, and part of your function is
indeed to bring wrongs to light. The balance of power in
personal relationships is also a key concern of yours.
Chapter 4: Saturn, Your Achilles Heel
Karmically considered, the placement of Saturn in your
birth chart indicates where your energetic blockages, weaknesses
and fears lie, and the areas of your life where the most
concentrated effort and discipline will be required to master
and overcome them. Yet it also points to the aspects of life
which can become your greatest strength if you are willing to
face your fears and difficulties honestly, and work with them
patiently.
Saturn in Leo
You struggle with acute self consciousness and either an
exaggerated sense of your own significance or a profound lack of
it. This seriousness about the self and overconcern about your
dignity or how others perceive you tends to tie you up in knots,
and inhibits you from expressing yourself freely especially in
those areas of life that should be or at least could be playful,
spontaneous fun (lovemaking, dancing, sports, creative
out-pouring of any part). Intense shyness may be a problem,
especially in matters of the heart. Your performance anxiety
reflects your deep need for recognition and affirmation from the
world. However, this need is apt to be frustrated and
unfulfilled until you learn to search within yourself for the
truth about who you are, and discover a sense of wholeness and
completeness within. Once you gain a deep sense of yourself and
your worth, the self-centeredness and constant desire for
"ego-strokes" which plague you in your early years may well
dissipate. At least, this is your task.
Saturn in 9th house:
Much of your personal struggle lies in the realm of ethics,
morals, faith, ultimate beliefs and discovering an over arching
ideal or truth on which to base your life. In your quest for
answers to some very broad questions, there may well be periods
of great doubt, skepticism, even cynicism or hopelessness,
because your faith will be repeatedly tested. Seeking a larger
perspective in response to personal losses, setbacks or other
painful experiences is apt to be a significant part of this
(i.e. "Why do bad things happen to good people?"). You will
not
be able to slide by without deeply questioning and critically
examining your basic assumptions about life, what is true for
you personally, as opposed to what is held to be true according
to popular sentiment or whatever religious teachings you may
have imbibed while young. You will have to hammer out a
philosophy of life based on your own inner searching and life
experience. This may be a lonely road, something you have to do
on your own to a large extent, without the aid or crutch of
outside authority.
If you turn away from the challenge of finding meaning in
the midst of life's thorns; if say, you become disenchanted with
any sort of spiritual quest at all, you may find yourself
chronically depressed or afraid to take any real risks in life.
Ultimately, the question you must answer is what or who do I
trust?
One pitfall for you is a tendency to become narrow,
humorless, rigid and dogmatic in your convictions. Beware of
trying to be the conscience or law-giver for other people or
imposing heavy, moralistic guilt upon others (or yourself) for
mistakes. The following quote may be especially apt for your
particular growth process: "Religion is for people who do not
want to go to hell. Spirituality is for people who have been to
hell and do not want to go back".
Saturn is Retrograde:
All of the above is complicated by the fact that you carry
a rather heavy burden of self-doubt, mistrust, or guilt over
having let yourself and others down in your past, when you
struggled (and failed) with these same issues. You now have the
opportunity to correct your course, make amends and resolve a
difficult karmic tangle, or a difficult state of mind.
Chapter 5: The Hard Aspects
The following is a description of your MAJOR LIFE
CHALLENGES, both in terms of energies you are to learn to
develop and express in a positive way, and those which are the
result of struggles and unresolved karmic issues which you have
brought into this life.
Venus Square Neptune:
You are in love with love, and your path in life, as well
as many of your challenges, involves understanding and
experiencing the realm of the heart. Irresistibly romantic, you
have the soul of a poet, a devotee, and above all, a lover.
In its earliest stages of development, this pattern within
inclines you to be easily seduced, overcome with emotional
yearning and infatuation, unable to discern the motives and
intentions of others, particularly if the other person appears
beautiful, soft, innocent, or in need. You can confuse pity with
love. You see the angel in the other person, and are deeply
disillusioned to discover the selfishness or sordidness.
Further on, your relationship with spirit may become
paramount in your life, a relationship between lover and
beloved. Your path is then what the Hindus refer to as "bhakti"
-spiritual devotion and service. This higher octave of love and
widening of the heart's affections can be very beautiful, but
herein lies the crux of some of your very human problems: "Where
are the limits or boundaries in relationships?" "Are there
conditions in love, or is unconditional love the ideal?".
Sorting out these questions and similar ones are part of what
your life is about.
Venus Quincunx Pluto:
The realm of human love and human relating is not one you
can enter into lightly or casually. For you it is always an
all-or-nothing, whole-hearted, and ultimately transformative
experience. Great joy and tremendous pain, betrayals, intense
desire, and longings are part of your soul's path and pattern in
this lifetime. A deepening of your heart and your capacity to
love, as well as a purification of your values, is what this is
all about. It may be the loss of one particular person in a
particularly poignant and excruciating way, or a series of
encounters which bring you ever deeper into your own
attachments. Even abusive relationships may be the arenas in
which this occurs. Ultimately, you are meant to discover the
power of love to heal, to renew and resurrect your own and
others' lives.
The darker side or temptation on this path is to use love
(or attractiveness, and others' love for you) to control,
manipulate, or force your will upon them. A love of power
-instead of the power of love - would then be your downfall.
Mars is Retrograde:
Asserting yourself vigorously and directly is complicated
by the fact that you had a prior lifetime or lifetimes in which
aggression was either misused (by you, or against you) and/or
all personal initiative and self-will was insistently
discouraged (perhaps due to a belief system that advocated
passivity).
In any case, the message that was impressed upon you was
that forceful action is wrong or dangerous. Thus, if you stand
up for yourself, you now tend to hesitate, back down or even be
plagued with fears of retaliation.
Uranus is Retrograde:
All of the above is complicated by the fact that in prior
times, you experienced great personal instability as a result of
impersonal, collective impulses toward change (during a time of
revolution, political upheaval, war, etc.). You may well have
been an agent of these movements, with a lingering inclination
toward radical solutions, extremism, flauntingly disregarding
social mores. Or you may have become a reactionary, fearing and
resisting all reforms or departures from the "main stream".
It
is thus difficult for you to be balanced and fair towards any
eccentricities (in others or even in yourself). A misuse of
science or technology, perhaps participating in experiments
which were harmful to you or others, is also indicated. Thus,
you may have a deep distrust of or an attraction/repulsion
toward science and technological advancement.
Pluto is Retrograde:
These issues are further complicated by the fact that in a
prior life or lives you experienced a terrible betrayal, and may
even have been tortured or put to death when you claimed power
(social, political or spiritual). You may have misused power or
employed Machiavellian strategies in which many suffered.
Whether you were a perpetrator or a victim of such abuses, deep
fears were engendered at that time, of being powerful or of
people in power who would crush you if you display your
strengths. An unconscious desire for revenge may motivate you
and prevent you from healing. Letting go of this may require
deep inner work and some kind of therapeutic energetic release
of the grief you hold.
Chapter 6: Soft Aspects
The following is a description of your GIFTS and STRENGTHS
which can help you work with your major life challenges. These
are abilities and qualities of heart, mind, and soul which are
quite natural to you. You probably take them for granted.
Because these represent the lines of least resistance for you,
you may rely too much upon them at times; hence, there are some
cautions suggested. Still, these are the areas where good flows
into your life and/or where you have considerable inner
resources.
Sun Trine Moon:
Your conscious aims, intentions and desires are in harmony
with your deeper, mostly unconscious attitudes and needs, and
thus you are able to move toward your goals in life without a
lot of internal conflict. You are also likely to get a lot of
support from your family, particularly female relatives, as well
as from women in general, many of whom share a spiritual bond
with you from previous incarnational experiences. In many ways
you are reaping the fruits of the goodwill you have generated in
the past. Though you, like all of us, are apt to go through
times of discord and stress, you are able to re-establish your
inner psychological balance and harmony in your life rather
quickly.
Moon Trine Mercury:
Your ability to communicate in a personal, sympathetic
manner, and to sense and take into account others' moods and
feelings, are some of your gifts. Because you are interested in
others' personal stories and are a good listener, you draw
people out and may find yourself the confidante or personal
advisor to many. You are also apt to be the sounding board,
mediator, or messenger between members of your family. You have
natural counseling abilities and innate psychological insight.
You also understand the public temperament and have a sixth
sense regarding mass psychology and social trends. The capacity
and desire to educate the public and to personally interact with
the public is also evident.
You may take your writing abilities and your knack for
learning languages and using words for granted. However, if you
put any effort at all into tapping these skills, you might be
surprised at how natural and easy they come to you.
Venus Trine Uranus:
Your gifts include an unusual flair or creative spark,
playful inventiveness, and a taste for adventure and surprise
that lead to new forms of pleasure or beauty.
You are also open to unconventional, nontraditional ways of
sharing, loving, and relating to people. Collaborating and
bringing unusual combinations of people together makes you
happy.
Having bells or chimes in your environment can augment and
bring out these qualities and gifts. Musical abilities and a
wonderful sense of rhythm are talents you have brought with you
into this cycle of life. When you are out of balance or
overwhelmed, music or dancing is a way you can rejuvenate
yourself.
Jupiter Sextile Saturn:
You have a well-developed understanding of how the larger
systems of the world operate, and how to succeed within the
confines and limitations of the mundane world. Business on a
large scale, the law, financial principles, all of these could
be your forte. Your ability to make long-range plans and goals,
and then to be consistent in implementing those plans is an
important asset. You have vision and optimism combined with
pragmatism.
Blessings, help, guidance and strength will come to you
from elders with a particular mentor or grandfather figure being
especially influential.
Neptune Sextile Pluto:
Collectively, this is a time in history that enables you
and those of your generation to advance spiritually through a
heightened awareness of the invisible and intangible realms. A
rebirth of spirituality through direct contact with higher
forces is occurring in this generation. This contact takes
many, many forms, including a compelling interest in life beyond
death. You may or may not have a personal involvement with
this, as it is a group karma rather than a primarily personal
one.
